JSC "MozyrSalt" is one of the youngest enterprises in the salt industry. It was founded on the basis of rock salt deposits opened in 1975 near the town of Mozyr.
It was designed by VNNIG (a research institute), Leningrad (St.-Petersburg nowadays) as Mozyr Salt Plant and was put into operation in December, 1982. The projected capacity of the enterprise - 360 thousand tons of commodity salt - was reached in 1987 - June 2000 - the international certificate of conformance to the requirements of the quality standard ISO-9002 is handed over
- May 2000 - the certificate of conformance in the national system of certification of the Republic of Belarus is handed over.
- August 1999 – introduction of a new kind salt - technical (wet) salt
- 1997 - Mozyr SaltPplant is transformed into Joint Stock Company "MozyrSalt"
- 1997 - introduction of iodine agent KJO3 in salt production
- 1992 - introduction of iodine - fluorine agents in salt production
- 1991 – introduction of prophylactic food salt with low contents of NaCl
- 1989 - introduction of fluorine agent KF in salt production
- 1989 - introduction of the iodine agent KJ in salt production
- 1988 - introduction of anticaking agent K4Fe(CN)6 in salt production
The "know-how" of extra brand salt "Polesie" guarantees the high purity of finished products. The impurity level is approximately 50 times lower than in rock salt. About 50 000 000 people in Europe and Asia a day consume our salt. Contacts Address
